THC & Textbooks, Weed Be Better Off

Medical Marijuana Poses Problems for Colleges by Susan Sharon

Or does it?

I understand the fact that federal law trumps state law and how that could jeopardize the funding these colleges receive but in the grand scheme of things the benefits of allowing medical marijuana on college campuses would outweigh the negatives. We all know that regardless of the laws that are in place weed is still going to exist on campuses nationwide. I just find it ironic that prescriptions for painkillers are allowed on college campuses yet a prescription for medical marijuana is banned. What sense does that make? It boggles my mind and it just reiterates the fact that medical marijuana and the legalization of it in general is and will be a topic of discussion until federal laws are adjusted accordingly. Let's just hope, for the sake of the successful smokers out there, that it is sooner than later...

In the meantime, stay medicated!
