Snoop Dogg On Teen Son's Pot Use: 'He's Learning From the Master' by Shirley Halperin from The Hollywood Reporter
Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion, whatever you prefer to call him, is currently guiding his oldest son Corde into launching his rap career as Spanky Danky. Usually a discussion regarding marijuana use comes up between a father and son when some weed is found in the son's bedroom or a roach is found in an ashtray after a weekend party while the parents were on vacation. Snoop Dogg on the other hand takes a totally different approach. He shows his 18-year-old son the proper way to hit a two-foot bong and they enjoy the chronic together, forming a father/son like bond that many Americans and people worldwide would consider to be a parenting failure. But is it? That's all just opinion...when we were put on this earth there wasn't a Guidebook for "Proper Parenting" laying around that everyone was expected to read and follow to a T in order for your children to be raised correctly and become "normal". Snoops has the freedom to choose how he wants to raise his children and in these circumstances it seems to be perfectly fine for he is showing his son how he was able to become so successful while also smoking weed.
Snoop says, "What better way to learn than from the master?" He also goes on to say, "My kids can do whatever the hell they want. I'm his father, so I want to show him the proper way because he looks up to me." We all know Snoop doesn't hide his love for the chronic from the public, so doing so with his son would just be hypocritical. Snoop Dogg and many other artists, musicians, and other successful people have proven that you can smoke marijuana and be successful. That doesn't mean it is for everyone but some people, including Snoop, claim that it has many beneficial uses pertaining to health, creativity and recreational use. Like us here at greenomix, Snoop hopes to one day see the "drug" fully and federally legalized in his lifetime. So to those who use marijuana in a positive manner to better their lives and to reverse the typical stereotypes associated with us "lazy potheads", STAY MEDICATED!
